Luna

My family and me are devastated to tell you that Luna passed away on January 24th. She had been very unwell for some time and was taken to hospital but passed away later that night. We are saddened to give you this news but know Luna would hate if you were left waiting for her to come back. 

As a family we would like to thank you all for bringing Luna such joy on the forum. She spoke of it every time I talked to her.

I have been in touch with the autism society and we Lunas account will be closed when they are able to.

We are deeply saddened to have to tell you this.

  • The outpouring of love for Luna here can leave no doubt about a few things - things that I hope Stephanie and her family can take solace from.

    Luna was very, very special.  She was very loved here, by all sorts of us oddballs and weirdos.  The breadth of her kindness, care and relateability was astoundingly impressive.  She brightened our days with positivity, kindness and love.  Her strength and endurance was stoic.  She was wise beyond her years - an "elder soul" We will miss her, but I also know that she has achieved a very positive legacy in all our hearts.

    God bless Luna, and may she rest happy forever.

    Suddenly, I'm not able to write a lot.

    I can only say, that a P.M. from Luna would make my day.

    She radiated niceness to the extent that I distrusted it at first.

    I just wish I'd been able to tell her, but I'm not so good at "being appropriate" and I did not really know who I was talking to, or how it would be received, so I don't think I managed it... 

    She was one of those who I felt lucky to have in my "friends" list.
