Music on repeat

Does anyone else go through a period of listening to a particular band or song like all the time over and over and then do the same with another band or song after?
At the moment I am watching old Girls Aloud videos all the time on youtube, I always liked their songs and the fashions and videos make me so nostalgic for the noughties.

I listen to German Schlager music on repeat all day as well, especially Beatrice Egli. Her songs just comfort and calm me

  • Actually, the Smile album is a Light for attracting attention.

    Also forgot;

    Spirit of Eden - Talk Talk.

    The Gold Experience - Prince.

  • Cult Leader Tactics - Paul Draper.

    04 - Six by Seven.

    Snap, Crackle and Bop - John Cooper Clarke.

    A light for drawing attention - The Smile.

  • That happened to me a few months ago with about four different Chvrches songs

    I was like that with their debut album. Slight smile

  • Yes, great song. I took my neice ice skating a while back and they were playing that while she was on the rink. The incongruity between subject matter and activity!

  • I have local radio (Radio Merseyside), on all day long, but it's not just for the music, there's a lot of chat. So it's company for me while i'm alone.

  • I love OMD, especially the song "Enola Gay"

  • I do this regularly. Music is in my ears from morning to night. At the moment my repeated song I keep playing is "Pandora's Box" by OMD. Everything about this song is good. I expect I'll move on to a new song to repeat soon.

  • I got a new phone about a year ago and put my favourite album on it. I'll add more later, I said. I've listened to that album every day since while running and am not bored of it yet, so I still haven't gotten around to adding any more.

  • That happened to me a few months ago with about four different Chvrches songs. Then I got briefly obsessed with a funny Limmy reaction video to Future Islands  (think the song is Singles) but then just wanted to hear the song/performance unironically a few times. I still bring that one up (and another performance: king of Sweden) every few days as it’s mesmerisingly strange yet good.
