What was the last book you read?

For those of you who are into reading, what was the last book you read and/or the book you are currently reading? 

The last book I read was Radio Silence by Alice Oseman and the book I'm currently reading is The One Hundred Years of Lenni and Margot by Marianne Cronin. Two books out of my comfort zone because they are very different to what I usually read but I enjoyed/am enjoying both. I'm also reading Death Note (manga) at the moment, which is a more usual genre for me. I bought the black editions of the series recently and they look so beautiful on my bookshelves Heart eyes

  • I have not long finished The Pawn of Prophesy by David Eddings. It is the first book in a series called The Belgariad and I have just started the second; Queen of Sorcery. The series so far has been fantastic. I think I’m loving it so much due to the fact that I haven’t read fiction in years. I love fantasy and I’m finally making time for myself to enjoy it again. But also, it is really good, so I’m enjoying it for that reason too.

    Oh, that was my comfort series when i was a teen! I still occasionally re-read it, though I don't own it all, I might get the missing ones on kindle next time I feel the urge.

    Oh really? So far, it’s excellent! I have just started the second, but have the next three saved in my eBay basket ready to go (an indication of how much I’m enjoying it).

    My comfort read as a teen was Christopher Paolini’s Inheritance Cycle. Just pure fantasy adventure at a time when my love for this genre was at its peak. I really liked those books, but I imagine some of the enjoyment if I were to read them again would come from the nostalgia.
