I remember being really moved as a child at that episode where Pat got lost in the fog, his van broke down, and they rang the church bells to get him home safely. One of those first experiences of holding back tears at the impact of unexpected kindness. This is not a funny bit, sorry!
I'm still annoyed we never got the episode where Pat knocks on the door to deliver a parcel just as Mrs Goggins bum touches the toilet seat.
Then when she pulls her knickers up and runs downstairs even in 5 seconds flat she discovers he's left a red note saying "sorry you weren't in.." and effed off quicker than ruddy Road Runner. Haha
