2E means you re intellectually gifted as well as having some sort of neurodiversity aka ASD, ADHD, dyslexia etc. I am AUADHD myself and always been above average in academics. Most people seem to think I'm very capable of handling myself but I really struggle with day-to-day tasks. I am completely timeblind so rely on my outlook calendar and auditory reminders for events. I also have a hard time interacting around neurotypical people as I can't seem to relate to them. Small talk drives me crazy . The feeling that I don't really belong makes me feel depressed and anxious. However, I know that I am actually in quite a decent place, have stable income and I have very supportive parents (can't say that for the rest of my family though!) I just want to feel less alone.
Well, it's an unusual look... but I'm sure you could carry it off!
And Jacob!
Same IQ, but also panic packed and left the house with half the cutlery drawer in my bag once.
Bet they saw you coming at the telescope shop
Would it help if I gave you another song, one I like, that you could associate with me instead?
In fairness, I had no choice, as I looked stupid with two telescopes glued to my eyes.
:D Did they work any better than your £1 ones? I guess not or you wouldn't have needed to buy those...
Glasses.
What did you change it into?
My IQ is 126. I once took 45 minutes to change a plug.
Nope.
This is my era (and this tune is truly awful).

There’s a possibility my IQ is around 125+ it just depends how focused/interested I am while sitting a test. I also think I may be neurodiverse and am currently in the processes of an ADHD assessment from a GP referral.
A lot of what you have wrote is relatable! I was also awful in regards to school barely passed most of my subjects, probably due to lack of revision and applying myself. 15 years later and I’m slowly getting myself to a better place in life.
What not this one? https://youtu.be/tDtlJU8e8v8
Yes, although I'm not sure how comfortable I am with that designation. I might have a high IQ but I failed at my PhD because I couldn't handle the stress (on top of other life stress) and I struggle with basic executive function. Nor have I achieved much in the over a decade since. Ho hum.
This forum is a good place to feel less alone.
I regularly had the experience of being top of the class at school. I went to grammar school and left with what one of my teachers said were "the best A level results in the history of the school" (5As, 6 if you include general studies, plus an extra A at AS level). Then I went to Cambridge and wasn't anything particularly special.
As a kid my intelligence was recognised and my autism was not. I knew I wasn't good at anything social so I leaned into the academic stuff that I was good at, hoping it would make up for my deficits elsewhere. Adult life has not really worked out as I hoped.
Welcome fellow AuDHD. I've never doine any IQ tests in my 'native ' language polish. I did one on facebook 5 years after coming to UK, my english was sligtly above average and I still scored enough to end up iin top2%. I actually skipped one question because I didn't know words used in it
I say: I'm good with things and how they work, and what laws of physics say about it, and very bad with people. Everything is easy until people come and mess it up.
Oh yeah IQ testing is so outdated. It only measures one kind of intelligence as well: what about creative IQ, emotional IQ etc. If accommodations were made, autists could easily exceed neurotypicals in their productivity at work and in education but that's just my 2 cents.
π Bees π (they/them) Autism resources in bio #stoptheshock #NothingAboutUsWithoutUs said:more autists would achieve what neurotypicals do if society were built around autists instead and not the neurotypicals.
Too true.
Sorry no can do. That's my name.
Sam, every time I see your name I unfortunately get this song into my head:

It's would be very helpful to me if you could change your name to something like 'Sound and Vision' or 'Heroes'.
