Hello :-)
Following my GP referral for an ASD assessment, I completed my pre-assessment in December. I found out last week I have now been added to the waiting list for an ASD assessment through the NHS, however the current wait times are 15-18 months from referral (so expected wait time of 10-13 months).
I am considering pursing a private assessment, as I feel like this is consuming my life and will do until I know one way or the other.
Does anybody have any recommendations for private assessments in Scotland? Specifically ones who specialise in assessing/diagnosing females. I am in the Glasgow/Lanarkshire area.
One assessor I have looked into is Anne Marie Gallagher at Connect to Autism - has anybody used her services for assessment/diagnosis?
Many thanks.
Can't thank you enough for recommending this guy NAS84391!
Hi there, I am using https://mcgeownconsultancy.com - John is in the Highlands/ Inverness area but does Zoom assessments so maybe he can help. I had problems with the NHS diagnosis (as a woman) a few years ago and felt all the questions were male orientated at that time.
