Clothing Sensitivity

I'm having one of those 'I don't want to wear anything' days. My skin gets hyper sensitive a lot of the time, probably anxiety, and today my left arm is hurting and feels really sensitive to touch. Which is making clothing hard work.

I had a jumper on and the material inside was too much for my arm, triggered the sensitivity in a big way. So I'm just hiding under my blanket now, which weirdly, isn't affecting it as bad.

It's the same with my feet, no socks at the moment, too sensitive so now my feet are cold lol.

  • I have trained my skin to tolerate just one type of t-shirt, one type of sock, one type of etc.  I have multiple sets of these things.  It is like a 'second skin' for me - and highly comforting.  I do where varied clothes when the situation demands it, but always begrudge the discomfort and "difference" that this imposes on me at those times.

In your situation, I think a 'duvet day' is in order if you can?  Nudity + being wrapped.
