Does autism aid your creativity?

(Sorry for starting yet another thread. I just have so many questions, all the time.)

I'd love to know how being autistic helps, or hinders, your creative abilities.

  • Isn’t ASD associated with a specific lack in social imagination’ ?  Is there a knock-on effect?  For example in composing music maybe it’s in ‘not considering the players experience of playing’ in the same way as a NT composer might.  Perhaps it’s a less ‘peopled’ idea of music.
