Special interest/Hobbies

Does anyone else get so overwhelmed with their hobbies that they become inert?  Seeing things  want to do strewn around the flat when I work from home, and not being able to do them makes me really stressed out. Seeing thing around me that I'm really interested in, but having no time to engage with makes me really angry, like I want to destroy my collections and throw away my art supplies to to feel clean.  But I do want them. But having the time to do them, or feeling like there's never enough time makes them feel like messes that I need to correct.  It's a weird and horrible half-way house. As a consequence it's just upsetting.  I' feel like I'm suffocating. So much t do which will never get done.

  • I relate to this. If I'm not engaging in my hobbies every single day I get really stressed out, as if I'm running out of time or I'll never have enough time to do everything I want to do. I'm just really all or nothing about it, either I'm doing my hobbies all day every day or life stuff interrupts and then I feel like everything's ruined and I'll never be able to focus on my hobbies again. And when this happens I also get the urge to destroy and get rid of everything.
