Received my referral letter, I’m confused

Hi everyone. A few months ago my GP said she will refer me to have an autism assessment. I have just received a letter which says:

’Based on the information provided in the referral form, there is enough information to suggest that a screening appointment with our team is indicated. What happens next: you will be offered a screening appointment in approximately 5-6 months. If, after the screening appointment, a full diagnostic assessment is indicated there will then be a further wait before an assessment appointment is offered’

is this normal? Does this mean they don’t think I’m autistic?
