What is a Positive about your ASD

For me, one of the things I appreciate is my ability to spend time alone in my own company. Not only is it essential for recharging my batteries and rest, but it’s a great time to lose myself in thought. Especially on topics otherwise kindly deemed ‘boring’ by those around me.

This is something I can do that many others seem to struggle with, but more than that, I gain a lot of enjoyment from it.

I agree with all that, CG, but it does trouble me as to *why* I'm so untroubled by being alone. I've literally always been like that.

The big ‘why’ question is one ask ask for almost everything, but I must admit, I’ve always just taken this for what it is. I think the question from my perspective is more along the lines of why don’t others enjoy it as much as I do?
