Do you think a bigger war is maybe going to happen

Everything in the news is so gloomy and horrible.

I just wonder if it will end up into war.

Things like food sizes going down is something that happened before WW2.

It is scary.

Do keep a few stocked up items at home, make sure your medical/first aid kits are up to date and a little bit extra.

Maybe buy in a few food tins with a very good best before date like 24/25 plus, some treats that you can rotate. stuff you like so it wont go to waste.

Any clothing items such as socks, tights etc.

Just in case things get more difficult to get at shops and more expensive.

  • The Euphrates dried up, and revealed several biblical prophecies.

  • I've always thought there will be something from that list

    1. Humans because of their greed or hate or other similar are going to start WW3 and blow up the world, or best case we'll be back in stone age

    2. aliens will come to eat us, or just blow us up without coming just in case, because we are so evil

    3. one of many natural distasters happening periodically, big enough meteor hitting earth for example, or another star not to far away going supernova (check Betelgese), or something the size of our planet falling into jupiter so it crosses the mass threshold and turns into star

I'm not sure only which is going to win the race

I hope it happens before I die, so I plan to live long Stuck out tongue

My prefered is back to stone age

  • I do think it’s a distinct possibility. But if it happens it’s likely to be war with China. And shipping between the UK and Europe and Africa and Europe are unlikely to be disrupted badly in the early stages. It’ll be electronics as an industry that’s devastated if China invaded Taiwan.

  • It is very scary to think about. I try to avoid the news, it's all doom and gloom, lots of horrible stuff.

Hopefully there won't be another war. It's such a beautiful world and we're all here for such a short time, it's a shame people can't just be nice and enjoy what we have whilst we can.

  • China and Russia are laughing their Arses off at us, with our ease at being offended.

For all the talk of Social Credit Scores in China, it's the Democrats - not China - who want it here.

  • only if china agree to one..... russia as it is seem weak and if the west get involved russia will be folded in no time with little effort, and just be like the war in iraq again... maybe easier considering it wont have brainwashed civilian fundamentalists that act as a global death cult... so russia would be much easier to solve than the middle east was... the only thing that could make it into a big war would be if china steps in for russia. china can easily match american forces now and have taken control of their sea again and have dwarfed and beat the power of the us navy forcing the us navy to have to pull back out of the chinese sea. so if china gets involved that will be a major war.... but luckily for us china are smart, they dont want a major war and are especially against the use of nuclear weapons. ofcourse any traditional war with china will require america to use nuclear weapons if america cannot get past the chinese navy, china likely knows that and knows america will use nukes like they did in ww2 to stop a larger war with japan... so all in all china wont want to commit to a war. and thus we wont be seeing a major war.

  • We talk and we talk until my head explodes
I turn on the news and my body froze
This braying sheep on my TV screen
Make this boy shout, make this boy scream
    Going underground

  • It's all an act.

The real war is in the homes, and Schools. Kids mentally programmed to fight, or flight.

  • Too much information, running through my Brain!

Too much information, driving me insane!

    (The Police 1981)

  • Exactly. Even when I was younger you had to wait for the mornng newspapers or 6 o clock news

Rolling 24 hour news channels and endless live updates on news websites and twitter do so much damage to our mental health

  • In the olden days whenever that was we had to wait for news to travel. Our primitive brains are not equipped for rolling news.

  • The news is scary. I get so triggered every time I see it. Last night I spent an hour trying to figure out how to change my homescreen on my internet browser because it was a homepage of news updates and every time I saw it it triggered me so much. Thankfully, I figured out how to and now my homescreen is a mommy and baby hippo which is much nicer!

One thing I would say about the news is that it is important to remember that it is designed to scare you. Im not saying that there arent bad things in the world, there are, but everything these days is aimed at exaggerating everything and making it seem as scary as possible. Every crisis or problem has to be reported as if it is the end of the world. Why? Because that is how they sell papers and get website clicks. The scarier it is the more it sells and the more money the media make, that is the sad fact.
Things are rarely as scary or bad as the media makes them out to be. The more you try to avoid the news the clearer your head will be and the better you will feel

  • I make sure I have at least a couple of weeks of food and a few months of medication at home. Less because I'm afraid of something catastrophic like a world war, more because I don't want to be stressed out if there's a shortage of a particular item. I have quite rigid food routines so something going out of stock can really throw me off if I don't have a stockpile. It also means that I can miss a weekly shopping trip (eg because it's the week before Xmas and I don't want to deal with crowds, or because I'm not well, or because there's a blizzard outside) and I can coast through to the following week without having to change my diet much (just switch from fresh veg to what's in the freezer).
