Friends and other comfort comedies

So while being ill with covid and tooth infection I have gone through 7 series of Friends on Netflix since Christmas eve. When I was at my most ill having it rolling all day and night was the only thing that would get me through. Especially at night when I couldnt sleep from the pain.

Does anyone else have any comedy shows that are like comfort blankets or safe places to them? Mine are Friends, The Office US, New Girl, How I Met Your Mother

  • I liked the big bang theory up until the point where they started changing the personalities of all the characters. It was comforting to see that Sheldon had friends while being the way he was.

    The Good Place is brilliant. It's pretty much the only series I've started watching during the last decade and actually finished. People wake up in "heaven" after they die, find it's not actually that great. One character is a philosophy lecturer and takes every opportunity to explain bits of philosophy in an entertaining way.
