Hectic Few Months.

It’s been seven months since I’ve been on. Suddenly after the relief of my diagnosis things went downhill very quickly. I obsessed over learning as much as I could and given my location I found it really difficult to find any support. I kept reading the comments in this forum which sometimes was a huge help when I was feeling alone. I have also found some other useful tools to bring me back down when I lost control (aside from shutting the curtains and turning everything off). A couple of things I have found are watching TED talks, they help connect with people with similar issues without having to be in a room full of people and I read about a song which helps you concentrate and is said to lower anxiety so much that apparently you’re not supposed to listen to it while driving. It’s called Weightless by Marconi Union. I put this on headphones very quietly when I feel like I’m getting wound up and it does seem to work for me sometimes , but there are some varied sounds so it might be too much for some people. I am a musician so music is my focus that shuts out the world. I hope this helps.
