To my dismay when I look on these documentary on TV about autism there are these amazing places where they are having groups if young adults meet with aspergers etc they had speed dating and a life skills course etc but this was in Australia..I can't find anything for UK.. my son I feel needs to be with other aspies I think it would help him as he's had neuro typical friends when at school but they didnt last and I think he's lonely. He just doesn't go out...and he is very vulnerable in that once he gave all his money away when we were out to get the covid jab..which he had no problem going to for some strange reason but other than that you won't get him.out..but he gave all his money away to a tramp which I thought sweet in one way but worrying in another as he then had no money to get home I had to get him another ticket and I ask him why he did it and he said he did it not because he cared but just because the guy asked him for some.money. I want to be able to put him.in a safe environment to make friends ..if he will even go anyway .he may not necessarily get on with others just because they're asd BUT I think he won't feel so much like the odd one out.
