Has anyone been invited to participate in this survey?
Now that I am aware of the more complex and in some cases more severe symptoms experienced by others than my own since joining this forum, I am unsure I will be suitable. Many in this forum will likely benefit from this programme more than I. Having read through this information: Information About Sertraline – STRATA (bristol.ac.uk) I am hesitant. Below is the first few introductory sentences of this invite followed by a link explaining the drug Sertraline used for the control of various anxieties:
You are being contacted because you have a diagnosis of autism and may have experienced symptoms of anxiety and have accessed our Autism Service Norfolk.
I am emailing you to invite you to take part in a research study on the treatment of anxiety in adults with a diagnosis of autism.
The study is called STRATA (SerTRaline for AnxieTy in adults with a diagnosis of Autism). It is led by the University of Bristol, in collaboration with the University of Western Australia, and has been designed with the help of experienced clinicians, researchers, and an autistic advisory group.
