Autism diagnosis

At the beginning of 2022 I began the diagnosis process, but my mum and teachers had to fill out a questionnaire about my behaviours and traits to see if they will move forward with the process. It's been almost 12 moths now and there has been no response, I'm struggling more in school, and I would much prefer to just get stuff moving rather than wait for nothing. It's making my brain itch and I can't scratch it. My dad did interfere once and that pushed everything back by 6 weeks, but I still should've heard something by now and it's making me worried. If they don't feel like they should go forward with the process, then I'll have to wait for a few years before I can refer myself to a specialist. I just wish they would hurry up a little bit or at least communicate what's happening. I have already asked for an updated but there's been no response. Any advice?

I hope you are well, thank you!
