Just did my ADOS

I did the thing!

I was so anxious that I've needed time off work, but now it's done.

I got the infamous frog book!  It was just as weird as everyone said.  The frogs were cute though.  And I had to make up a story on the spot about my three small objects, which ended up being about a mum taking her daughter out in the snow.  Because that's been the big thing this week, snow.

It was a lot a talking and the questions all came so fast I wasn't sure I said enough for some things.  I was fidgeting with my bracelets most of the time.  I still have to wait for the results but she said she hopes to do that before Christmas.  Fingers crossed.

  • Thank you everyone!  I'm coming down a bit now, and thinking about it all, and noting things that would probably have scored me autistic points.

  • Prepare for weeks of waiting for a formal letter. 2,5 weeks in my case. I can't wait in queue, It's either I fall asleep because I'm to tired, or I'm going nuts, and after 5min of standing and waiting I drop my basket and leave

Btw, falling asleep is a defense mechanism I developed in primary school for stressful situations. I use it against motion sickness as well. If I fall asleep in 5min I won't throw up after 10min of travel.
