Family Fund

I've read a report recently as I don't have a life (lol) about a review of the charity Family Fund.

The Gov won't but should consider pushing the age limit of 17 to 25 as the review said.

Has anyone like me benefited from FF, I only did once but they were nice and the help they gave was good

P.S. I hope this thread doesn't turn into US/AGAINST GOV, I know the issues and I too get very upset, bemused and angry but haven't yet posted such things on the internet

Really don't understand why this isn't extended to disabled adults. You hear about all these disabled children getting holidays, etc. But what about disabled adults? Why do we get no help at all?

Hi - yes, thought it had some connection. When my son was little at the end of the 80s we were poor. They were really helpful + identified certain things we were in need of in the house. Also they funded a week's holiday for us once a yr until things improved financially for us. Don't know if they still do that part of it or whether it's with the Family Fund now.

Actually looking at their website they did work under their wing for 20 years but are seperate now,
