PIP appeal

I have applied for PIP for the first time , and I had heard the process is not easy . I’ve received my decision letter and I scored a total of 2 points.
reading the letter it look like they have not even read or even understand any of my reasons for applying for PIP. Mostly the letter looked  copied and pasted

Basically they not awarded me PIP because I can drive a car, and because I engaged well over the phone .

I def be appealing .

has anyone else had success appealing a PIP decision

  • Definitely appeal it. From what I've read they normally reject people straight away, probably a computers automated response truth be told.

I can't remember exactly but I think I was rejected first and second time. My mum helped me with Citizens Advice and I think the GP helped too with a letter and I was accepted then.
