How to deal with Insecurity ?

What is the best way to deal with emotional safety instability and then emotional insecurity as a result of a situational surrounding or interpersonal relationship. Basically were the environment feels unsafe and thus emotional I feel unsafe and then insecure, expressing as stress and anxiety, all because I am scared of people.

 

  • I'd love to be able to say "think to yourself that nothing will happen and you'll relax" but in my case things have happened, so for me at least, I can't do that.  When people say "the odds of something happening are so low" I have had proof of this not being the case.

    Perhaps some therapy or counselling might enable you to be calmer and not fear so much?
