Just throwing this out there; I think those of us on the spectrum are a call to humanity for the need for the natural recentring of the self and the planet?

Homeostasis is how this presents in biology. The Middle-way is how it is referred to in Buddhist teaching.

I think the autistic sensibility calls to a return to this state of moderation, sensitivity, and balance which the NT world is ignoring.

    You could be correct with what you say, but I do also occasionally feel like a "fire starter, twisted fire starter".

    My autistic sensibilities were driving me to thoughts of death and destruction whilst an extremely noisy 1980's Hoover was pushed around my feet in the post office earlier!

    The "middle-way" is definitely what I aspire for, but not sure that's core to my ASD / ND self?

    Interested to know what others think.....and don't forget that you can't bite your own teeth (a favourite saying of Alan's)
