The trick that worked for my son was to put a mirror inside the toilet bowl so he could match what he felt inside with the outcome he could see. Maybe an additional tip to add for kids with hypo-propriocepcion?

I will expand on how we did it in case it helps. First I put the mirror inside de bowl (I took a facial mirror with handles so that it does not slip inside) and explained he could watch while sitting and invited him to just seat and watch. Then used one of the tip, set a toilet routine every evening as part of the night routine but without pressure for a result. Once it worked I kept the mirror as part of it for weeks. At that point he wanted to go outside routine so each time I'd ask whether he wanted the mirror. We kept the mirror option until he said he didn't need it anymore himself many times in a row. In total it took about a couple of months. Once no mirror was needed he could go to other toilets. I also give him a milk with fiber as part of his diet to help his intestines as when he is constipated the whole proces involves pain and rejection of the toilet.
