Struggling with Life

Hi Wave tone1

I am struggling a lot with my life and it’s getting me down all the time.

First of all in February this year PIP (Personal Independent Payment) stopped my money. We put the form in twice and got knocked back twice and now I am on to the tribunal (this would be my 3rd time going to a Pip tribunal), however I haven’t received my tribunal date and it’s stressing me out. I’m stressed about money, how to manage it etc.

I am turned 28 next month and I am worrying so much that I’m not going to have the life I have always dreamed. I have no friends (apart from online), I haven’t had any romantic relationship in 6+ years…and even if I were in romantic relationship I am scared of intimacy/and being in a relationship. I don’t work (haven’t for 6+ years) but I would like to work one day, but every time I try to look for work they either ask for 1 year experience or to be able to drive or have references etc *sighs*

I have tried joining groups but I didn’t feel like I fit in or they weren’t for me.
Last week I cried to my mum because I felt like a disappointment to her and my dad and all I want is to be like everyone else to have the things they have.

I feel as though I am in limbo where time carry’s on and I’m just stuck with no where to go. I know I have posted things like this before, but at this moment I just don’t see the point in trying anymore x

  • I sympathise with you, It's incredibly hard to get PIP even though 100 percent you know you are entitled to it. If you have Facebook there is a benefit support group that offer really good advice in regards to claiming etc. Alternatively, you can speak to your local CAB (Citizens advice) to see if they can allocate someone to help you with the tribunal. Wishing you all the best.
