Hi all,
My name is Michael. I am helping a friend obtain a diagnosis for her 10 year old, but I was shocked to hear she has been on a waiting list of an NHS assessment centre (referred via her GP) for THREE YEARS!
To me, three years is unacceptable. But, as it is 18 years since we got a diagnosis for our son (which we obtained in a year) I am obviously out of touch with how hard it is to get one through the NHS.
Therefore, I am asking the forum; does anyone knows of a reputable private assessment clinic, located in London or East Anglia, where an assessment can be obtained at a reasonable cost?
