- All new evidence point's to autistic people having irregular size amygdala. Which makes complete sense because the amygdala controls how you physically FEEL. Which is very different from how you IMAGINE you feel in the cortex... There is no evidence anywhere every that autistic people have ant cortex issues. SO WHY ARE WE BEING DIRECTED TO CORTEX DOCTORS not AMYGDALA DOCTORS.? Because there are no such things as amtgdala doctors. Which is like having a heart issue. Going to get advice. Being told there are no hesrt doctors. So we will use a lung doctor. Because its close enough. Ffs.
