All this talk of nuclear war is terryfying me. Because of my processing issues I struggle to understand it all. Is it actually going to happen?

escalation is a possibility but nukes are often last resort. first escalation will be the west and russia entering armed conflict.... russia doesnt want that as they cant even handle ukraine... so escalation cannot afford to happen for russia, but they will want to bluff and claim they would want to escalate. but they dont, and they cant...
you know their 9000 nukes they claim to have are based on the fact the soviet union had that amount of nukes?.... but yet those soviet nukes needed replacing.... they wouldnt have maintained or replaced them, evidenced by western missiles and warheads from that very same time period having been looked on recently and found they had all rotten and been unusable... so those 9000 nukes russia claims to have from the soviet union, they would have all rotten! and they cannot gain the material and tech to remake them very easily... at best, they may have 1 nuke maybe.... maybe 10 at worse.... this is also evidence by the fact russia changed their threats to a threat that they will get the capability to nuke london by last christmas, this threat told me that they didnt have the capability at the time, because they found they had no nukes and christmas was their estimated time to create 1 single nuke at best lol it probably got pushed back with the fact they are struggling to access trade and tech, they cant make new nukes very easily.
heres another silly claim, they think they can set a nuke off in the sea and think it will cause a tidal wave that can cover all of the uk and set us under the sea... .think on that.... how ridiculous is that? .... tell me, the usa has tested over 1000 nukes in the pacific sea, has it ever created a world ending tidal wave? ... no? ... plus to make one that covers all the uk, thats insane, there isnt enough water in the entire worlds seas to drain to create such a large tidal wave as that lol

Caelus, you are normally quite well informed and your instincts for truth seem well developed, but you seem to be getting a bit "mainsteam delusional" here about Russia, it's wealth and capabilities.
If you can find the time, (I know you are busy!) track down and listen to some of Scot Ritter and Col Doug Mc Gregor's very qualified and soberly delivered (mostly) assessments and pronouncements abut Russias capabilities and stuff...
Although much of what you will learn will differ from what you have just told us, I reckon you'll be man enough to admit if you find you had poor quality previous information, and chew that wasp! OTOH, between you and the others, if it's my information and sources that are of poor quality, I'll get to readjust my opinion.
For people who really DO just want the truth, irrespective of whether it fits their world view, the outcome of "I think you are wrong" rarely if ever ends in acrimony...
