Uncanny Valley

All my life watching other people act I am hard pressed to picture their motivations, or even to guess what is the purpose of their actions. Usually it feels like a random pick out of few possibilities that are based on personal statistics, on what I experienced and observed. Except one case.

Few weeks ago I started watching on Netflx TV Series ''Cloud 9'', theoretically a satirical depiction of daily life of superstore's employees. It's mindblowing what they come up with sometimes. At the same time I feel like I identify with some of their behaviours, as if there was a bit of myself in everyone of them. No second-guessing.

Most of the time I'm Jonah with all his 'helpful hinting', and 'do gooding'. But I'm in Sandra's inability to say 'no' as well, in Glenn's childishness, Dina's practicality and refusal to be bothered by opinion of others about her, Amy's insecurity and lack of selfconfidence, Garrett's futile attempt to conceal savviness.

So, is there anybody who watched it too? Is it just amazing depiction of autistic traits or are employees pictured to be autistic characters? Or just my imagination?
