The Queens passing as a fundamental change to be assimilated

Like alot of people Queen Elizabeth was the only monarch I'd ever known.  I feel sad at her passing, and remain in awe of her carrying out duties -  ones that I could not even comprehend trying to do - for 70 years, when it was never her choice.

But I think my reaction is more about the fundamental change in the status quo.  Our country is already on very rocky ground with poor environmental choices and the escalating cost of living and I feel that this event has just tipped things over the edge for me....

I wondered if anyone else had felt that way?

I feel like I need time to think about it and understand it, work out how it will affect me (media input, conversations, future impact) before I can get on with other things again.

Parents
  • our country does not have poor environmental choices.... our country is one of the most environmentally friendly on the planet now as any first world country can easily accomplish, the burden of this environmentally friendly thing falls on third world countries that cannot afford to go green like the 1st world can do... they will be on coal while we are now next to 0 emissions, the coal produced power we do use we cop out of that by buying that from abroad which has made us so reliant on places like russia, but it shows we do not produce the environmentally damaging stuff anymore, at the worst we buy it from other countries that do the damage instead and yet they dont get any blame for it or criticism.

the whole green stuff has sent us to our knees with full reliance on other countries now. it has weakened us and was a terrible choice. we have sold out our future not that i care as i have no kids and so personally cant look them in the eyes and tell them i allowed these people to make their future country weak and reliant on others and full of poverty lol its badly thought out by people that dont think on things hard enough or in wide enough scope. just another bullet wound in the wests brain on its way to collapse.

the queens passing had no effect on me, as she didnt do anything anyway and i didnt know her and had no relationship with her.

  • down vote all you want its just plain ignorance to claim we are the worst environmentally, do the research, we are not... we are the best environmentally but that is due to the fact our country is so rich it can pay to be as green as possible, poor countries do not have this privilege.... it is a rich privilege to be environmentally friendly and your just all being arrogant snobs and ignorant of the world and its poverty.

furthurmore it goes against the green agenda to criticise and claim the greenest environmentally friendly nation on eart is the bad guy... your literally just attacking the nations that put in the effort and go zero carbon.... so if you do that and attack them when they are the greenest what incentive do they have to carry on like this? ... they wont... because if they become the champion and the greenest and you still criticise them then it shows that green isnt a problem, pandering to it is the problem and tackling the problem is the problem while if we ignored it and went full dirty energy youd not say a word and the country would be better off and without criticism... it doesnt pay us to help or do the right thing because you criticise for doing the right thing and yet its ok if we did the wrong thing instead?

this is also why countries that dont have a word for racism claim they have no racism problem but are the most racist on the planet but they dont have a word for it and so it isnt recognised and so you all see them as not racist when they are the biggest shut off racists in the world. looking at you china!

  • furthermore the cost of living will continue to rise the more green we get..... all the cars now going to be using the electric grid... this is the cause for electric to rise... the real cause, because they see this and they want the cost of recharging your electric car to be the same as the cost of refueling it, they want to replacing fuel with electric in every way and that means they want as much money per mile off your electric as they do off fuel... which means electric was always going to have to rocket in price to fill that gap of the soon to be missing fuel cost for the economy. it has to rise... but you see we also use electric for homes and business so because were switching to green cars its gonna cost you a absolute bomb on your house electric bills. the green stuff has caused this cost of living crisis.... and it will get worse as i dont think electric is yet at the price to truly replace fuel per mile cost on vehicles yet, and all cars are not yet sapping away at our grid yet. and for one you know our grid isnt good enough to provide the current electric needs and you want all the cars to be on it when were already getting blackouts without all the cars sapping off it? and we have less electric production because we got rid of most of our dirty energy production.... this is why we have a cost of living crisis... you have to pay for this yourself, you cannot demand green everything and yet not pay a price for it when its gonna be super expensive and create more demand on the grid and yet less production for the grip.... less electric in the grid but a higher demand for it.... yeah, its madness, think on that next time you ask for green stuff and then have the cheek to also complain about cost of living, the green stuff you demand comes with a high cost of living....

as for the royals they are hypocrites anyway, charles took a private jet to some random pacific island one time to lecture them about climate change... yet his jet caused more carbon than what the islanders would create in 1 million years of their life!
