The Queens passing as a fundamental change to be assimilated

Like alot of people Queen Elizabeth was the only monarch I'd ever known.  I feel sad at her passing, and remain in awe of her carrying out duties -  ones that I could not even comprehend trying to do - for 70 years, when it was never her choice.

But I think my reaction is more about the fundamental change in the status quo.  Our country is already on very rocky ground with poor environmental choices and the escalating cost of living and I feel that this event has just tipped things over the edge for me....

I wondered if anyone else had felt that way?

I feel like I need time to think about it and understand it, work out how it will affect me (media input, conversations, future impact) before I can get on with other things again.

    I personally didnt feel like that about the change of monarch but I do feel like that whenever there is a general election or change of PM. I got very anxious during the last election and getting a new Prime Minister last week made me very anxious. I hate thinking how it can bring changes to the country and makes things more unpredictable. I hate change

    If its any comfort to you, the change from the Queen to King Charles shouldnt bring about many changes in the country as the monarch is mainly just a figurehead and has very little power. Not much will change
