Adult private diagnosis

I'm 28 and want to finally receive a diagnosis for autism. I'm in Hull and on the nhs it's an 18 month- 2 year wait so I'm deciding to go private. But a quick Google search is coming up with nothing in the North. Or only online services come up and I feel a face to face assessment would give me a more accurate diagnosis.

Can only really afford at most £600 for an assessment.

Any ideas where to go??? Don't really want to travel further than the Midlands thereabouts.

Regardless of where you go, an adult assessment is at least £1000. I believe mine was around £1600.
You should be allowed to pay in installments if that’s easier to manage.

Do a specific search for consultants who work in your area for the NHS, as some work privately too. Also check Bupa. Look for someone who deals with autism in adults, or who has autism as their interest. This is easier than doing a Google search for ‘adult autism assessments’.

Thanks . My dyscalculia diagnosis was about £600 do just assumed an ASD diagnosis would be around the same price
