Rest; for sure.
I hope you are able to switch off today for a well deserved (and by the sounds of it) essential recharge day. It's done now - well done - so hope you don't ruminate your brain into further tiredness.......if you're anything like me = very difficult to do. All the best.
I am just shattered. Before the PIP assesment I had two days of phone calls and forms with UC and other people. I just have nothng left today, feel like a shell
I hate to say it but that is what they are trying to do…catch you out. I am sure you did ok. Well done for doing it and now do something you enjoy for the weekend.
Thank you all for everything today, you were all really helpful
I think it went ok, its hard to tell and I always second guess everything ive said and wonder if i said it right
It went on really long! An hour and 10 minutes in total and she asked me way more quiestions than i was expecting, really personal detailed stuff. it was very overwhelming, I felt very overwhelmed afterwards
She was really lovely and supportive although I do feel like she was trying to catch me out once or twice but i dont know if that was just my imagination
Thank you, I will. its in 10 minutes
Any time. Let us know how you get on.
Thanks this is all so helpful
Oh and don’t over exaggerate!
No do not say anything about good days! Only tell them what you are like at your worse. If you do not they will say you are fine and there is nothing wrong with you.
Even if you do get your PIP you can still volunteer for about 12-14 hours a week and it will not effect payments. It maybe more but I am playing it safe.
Maybe if you mention "good days" they might jump on it as reason to turn it down
Thank you that means a lot. Should i say i get good days as well or just talk about bad days? The thing is im still hoping to do a little bit of part time work if i become well enough so im worried if i dont say that theyll accuse me of fraud or something. UC are aware im looking for part time work
No problem. Any other questions you have please do ask. You have got this.
The best advice I can give (having been through it my self) is when your speaking to them always give your worse day. Only tell them the worse that you get. If you don’t they will mark you down. I found that out the hard way.
good luck.
