School uniform

Hi,

Does anyone have any recommendations for school uniform that is more comfortable and less rigid, the ones in the high street shops are really not nice.  My son was wearing shorts to school, but now has to wear trousers which I know he will struggle with the feel of the material.  I would suggest skins / leggings underneath but he doesn't generally like the feeling of those either.  Any ideas, much appreciated

  • I would suggest doing a search to find 100% cotton, marino wool or even natural tree fibres like bamboo. Other natural fibres like flax, linen, viscose and other sheared animal hair or even silk are all human-friendly. Polyesters and nylon being made from petroleum are basically a form of plastic - the skin cannot breathe in these. I try to stay away from blends even as much as possible. 

    There are many shops who will sell these, but it might be easier to know how to look if you ask for natural fibres :)
