Study Anxiety

I'm a bit anxious and nervous about going back to Sixth Form in September because I've been struggling with my homework and learning new Year 13 content.

My homework is just a recap of everything I've learned last year in Year 12 but I've forgotten a great deal of it and I'm having a hard time trying to practice it all. It just feels like too much to process and retain. I've also had to do homework on Year 13 content with my Year 12 recap and it's taken me so long to complete.

I worry that I'm not working fast enough and I'm not getting enough done. It makes feel very anxious, worried and scared and sometimes I avoid studying because of this.

I'm going back to Sixth Form in 2 weeks.

Does anyone feel the same way about studying and how do you cope?

I'm just asking for some help.

  • Hi

There is a lot to learn at school, at some point I started to focuing on math and physics and chemistry more and ignoring everything else

I struggled with homework too, but only in subjects I didn't like e.g. literature, writing essays that would be ridiculed anyway was a horror, but math I had it done before I left school

so, you've already read books for the next year, I was doing that too, but are you aware allistic don't?
