The referral is now showing up in the GP online system. I'm a bit annoyed it's in the wrong name and has the wrong pronouns. My medication is also incorrect and the bottom of the summary I wrote explaining why I need an assessment has been cut off. But at least it's done!
Hi, my GP referred me in December, a confirmation letter arrived two weeks ago with various questionnaires. The waiting time doesn’t start until these forms are processed. The letter states that only after the forms are processed will they consider if an assessment is suitable for me. It then goes on to state that if I’m accepted, I will have to wait at least two years. This is Buckinghamshire area. I think it’s a bit like an endurance contest!
