Embarrassing conversations

What embarrassing conversations have you had? Do you ever get asked something, then get carried away chatting, changing the subject at least once, then have to ask "Sorry, what did you ask?"

Yes, it is hard to remember that you are not actually supposed to be... and I am no good at all at not being, so either way it doesn't work.
