Feeling alone

Hello I'm new here,I feel like I needed to just vent my problems,I'm high functioning but have problems like understanding emotions alot.

Currently I have my family members I talk to and have tryed to doctors on how I feel but they tryed to help but didnt really work I dont wana feel alone anymore I dont ,plus I feel like i keep upsetting people alot for not reason and my attitudes changing alot,what do i do?

  • Sometimes I wish I had friends. Then again, when I actually think about the demands placed on people in friendships and the social fatigue and anxiety that can cause me, I get turned off by the idea.

    Still, if you want friendships, you should seek them. Decide what your interests are and try and work socialising around those. I feel much more comfortable communicating in text than in person, decide whether that's you or not and then decide how that's going to work around your interests and life.

    If you are a face to face person, the NAS run social events and there's likely to be interest groups near you that will either be evident on Facebook or other social media. If you prefer text based, consider joining forums that relate to your hobbies and go from there.
