So I had a stay in intensive care about 2 years ago for Rhabdomyolysis and chest infection I was on dailysis and a ventilator
after coming out I noticed that my behaviour had
changed uncontrollable shouting,liking Peppa pig,not understanding communication as much,getting excited at Peppa and my guinea pigs which I call the boys I will say this loud in supermarkets with no control
making my words longer and emberfising vowels and certain letters
I was wondering whether any other people on here have the same patterns
they think it’s down to the trauma of icu- but my friends and finding it difficult to understand me and it’s getting me down
I have a diagnosis of autism but I wasn’t really that noticeable until after I got poorly any advice would help coz I feel like there’s something wrong
