I'm looking to invest in some ear defenders or noise cancelling headphones as my tolerance for loud noises has really gone down lately.
Would I have to buy autism specialist ones or would the normal builders type ones from b and q work?

I use Vanderfields. They are comfortable, can be worn with glasses, and slim meaning they are rather discreet. I got mine for around ten pounds and they have held up very well over the past year.
