My sensory issues feel like mild hallucinations, because I sometimes smell things that other people can't smell.
I read somewhere that autistic people have heightened senses so we can smell and hear things other people cant. It doesnt mean we are imagining it, just that other people cant smell it
For instance, I am always convinced my clothes smell of sweat when other people smell them and tell me they dont smell at all
It just sounds similar to olfactory hallucinations, but it's not the case, it's just we have sensory issues.
