Trying to move but nothing? It’s really long sorry

Hello. So a little background I got diagnosed when I was 17. I have many mental health issues since I was 12/13 as well but I hate going to the doctors.
So me and my partner are trying to move out of our current home and into a council property. This is because we are struggling to afford this property and we are stuck in a catch 22. I’m struggling working full time in my job but can’t afford to drop hours because how expensive this home is. Working and living here is messing with my mental health and I feel very alone and my home is a mess. We have 2 boys that stay at the weekend (they are his but I love them both very much and have a good bond with them) and they can’t use our spare room because you can’t get a bed in there so they use our room and we used the living room. The council seem to think that we want an extra room for the boys and they say that they don’t count. It’s not for them its so I can have a sensory room for me so I can have the time I need. They have also said they have contacted a professional to see why moving us would be beneficial. I don’t know how long this will take. And who they would contact. I have an appointment with my gp now to discuss my mental health and to ask about getting a support worker but I don’t know if I can get one cuz I work full time. I’m so stressed by everybody and I don’t know how to cope. We got denied a viewing because we have the children for a one bed for the council said they don’t matter and we only get a one bed I’m so confused
