Like, It's hard to explain but I'm not sure how to explain it but I'm not sure if any of you experience this as well. I hope you understand what I mean after I explained this! Ok, so over the years, I noticed that people have spoke to me differently like treated me really younger like a kid speech to me when I was quite old!
Now I'm 22, just found out I had aspergers about a few months ago when I was 21, I have successfully got a apprenticeship now and working full time on it, but I notice most of my colleagues talk to me different to other people in the workplace! Like there's a girl the same age as me what works there which she is "normal" with no disability, I notice that her boss talks to her like in a adult manner sort of like the formal way of talking as a adult like the tone of voice etc. But when they talk to me, their tone of voice completly changes to a much higher pitch voice instead of the normal deep voice, like the other day, that lady asked me if my mum made packed lunch for me and everything and she always talk to me like the same way you talk to kids using high voice, polite and kind etc. It feels like I'm not treated as my age there in terms of communication but only some of them do that.
They are all aware that I have aspergers but are they doing that because I have aspergers? I just find it quite annoying in a way sometimes if the lady asked if my mum made me packed lunch and I said I make it myself, she seemed quite surprised! Why is this? I am confused!!
