I think that Prosopagnosia should be called Facial Misidentification Syndrome, because you misidentify faces often.
Language is used to include and exclude....
Prosopon is Greek for face
gnosis is Greek for knowledge
a is a prefix denoting a negative
Hence the word means (or is intended to mean) 'not knowing faces', or in colloquial language face blindness.
