Just got my ADHD diagnosis a few weeks ago, and got ASD diagnosed today. It was first identified in late 2019, then I was referred in March 2020 so it's been a very long haul. It feels very strange that it all happened so quickly in the end. Other than relieved that they agreed, I'm not sure what to feel about it all. Just glad it's done I suppose.

    Thanks Renee, I think the only regret is that I didn't know sooner. I walked away from the work that I loved as I couldn't cope and didn't understand why. It would be impossible for me to go back into that particular field, but I think it's time to really start looking at what else I could do that will make me much happier!

    It's a shame you couldn't know before but at least now you do you can look at new exciting things. I'd like to work in time but I'm still trying to figure out what I could do :) Look at your skills and things you enjoy and see if that will take you anywhere. I hope you can find something you'll enjoy and will make you happy.
