This is a really thought provoking and passionate poem by Callum about ‘functioning labels’. He talks about how society puts autistic people in metaphorical ‘boxes’ and the way non autistic people view us. He very passionately conveys the emotional and detrimental impact of ‘functioning’ labels on our community.
