Teacher told no DMs

I am totally freaking out! I have worn DMs to work at my primary school for 20 years. They are pretty much the only shoes I wear other than in the summer. 

Just had an email today saying no DMs. I don't feel comfortable in any other shoes.  My Docs are part of what makes me, me. 

What should I do  ? I am so worried about going to work tomorrow?

    Even if you’re not intentionally Setting an example for female identifying students, why should you compromise future you by not being allowed stable and healthier footwear (better for the back and knees).
