I’m wondering if anyone could suggest where I could find an autistic therapist. I contacted an organisation called Action for Asperger’s but they didn’t get back to me. I don’t have much of a budget for private therapy, but would like to ve aware of any options out there. Thanks in advance

  • I can only suggest one autistic therapist, Erin Stevens, that I came across on twitter - her website says she is fully booked up, but she has links to a directory of other therapists so worth checking out them.

    People set up crowdfunding for these kind of things, help them more forward in life - worth thinking about.

    I went down the self-help book route as affordable and realistic, but worth trying to see an autistic therapist if you are able to as it might help you get in a better place quicker.
