  • TARDISSTEVE,

Having read quite a few of your posts, it seems to me that you are greatly in need of practical help and support with your mental health. As you appear to have been difficulty contacting your GP, is it possible that you could write a letter to your GP?

After my father died just over 3 years ago, I knew I needed practical help and mental health support because I was really struggling, but I couldn't face phoning my GP. Instead, I sat down and wrote a letter to my GP, detailing what my issues were.

I know that letter-writing isn't for anyone, but it might be worth a try. In my case, I found writing a letter to my GP to be a lot less stressful than attempting to explain everything in a phone call. It meant I could take my time and think about what it was I needed to say.

  • I had a very public meltdown in my doctor's surgery over a month ago

In which I threatened certain things out of frustration

I got told I would be referred to social services but have heard nothing back

  • So why not try writing a letter to your GP and explaining that you are desperate for help, and that you are still waiting for Social Services to contact you all these weeks later.

This is a horrible situation for you to be in, and it's a situation that no person should have to be in. I really feel for you and wish there was more that I could do to help you other than offer suggestions.
