Open Univercity

I was reminded today about the range of short free courses you can do with the OU. Whether it be to increase your learning or just use it as a free hobby, for anyone who can't afford to pay for a hobby. I was amazed at the number of things they have on offer, even got a course there about Dolly Parton ..... wow. Anyway the one i've picked for starters is an 8wk, 24hr course entitled ... Understanding Autism.

Anyone want to join me ?

Tnanks, yes that's the one i've signed up for.

I did start to do a degree with the OU about 12yrs ago, but packed up after only 2yrs. I was only doing it for 'fun'. 'Cos of my sge it would never have helped mr get a better job, and it was taking so much time, and was quite expensive, i decided it wasn't worth it. But reading their list of free short courses, many sound good, i think i may do more
