Theory of mind/ thinking/ critical thinking

Does anyone else struggle with understanding their own thought process or lack much of a thought process (which can be annoying when asked to explain what you were thinking)?

Also does anyone struggle to think critically, particularly in relation to others and in Social interactions?

  • I took a symbolic logic class which revolutionised my life. Oddly, acting classes and yoga classes can give us practical steps to be in a moment and learn to identify what we're experiencing or thinking.

Social interactions are built on a completely different set of rules. As far as I know, I've yet to meet another autistic individual who can - in the moment - decode NT social rules. The logic is based on this theatre with language / linguistics / semiotics which is innate.

While yes, I can think with Autistic clarity now. I do not reason with the same premises as NTs. We have completely different motives.
